What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 Symptoms
There are multiple symptoms of COVID-19. These can include:
High Temperature
A high temperature or shivering
Continuous Cough
A new, continuous cough (coughing a lot for more than one hour or having three or more episodes of coughing in 24 hours)
Sore Throat
A sore throat
The majority of people recover from their first symptoms within a few days or weeks, making a full recovery within 12 weeks. However, some people can become more seriously ill and their symptoms can last longer than this.
NHS COVID-19 Vaccinations
Eligibility Criteria
You can only use this service if any of the following criteria apply to you:
- You are aged 75 or over
- You have a severely lowered immune system

Private COVID-19 Vaccinations
Eligibility Criteria
The below groups will be eligible for a private COVID-19 vaccination from 24th September 2025:
- Those aged 18 years and over
