NHS Flu Jab Eligibility Criteria
The NHS flu jab for the 2024/25 season is available for the following eligible groups:
Adults 65 and Over
Free flu vaccinations for everyone aged 65 years or above.
Medical Conditions
People with specific long-term health conditions or children in at-risk groups (from 6 months of age).
Pregnant Women
Expectant mothers can receive the flu jab to protect both themselves and their baby.
High-Risk Household Members
Those living with someone on the NHS shielded patient list.
Frontline Workers
NHS and social care staff are encouraged to get the flu jab for free.
Care Home Residents
People living in long-stay care homes or residential facilities are eligible for the free NHS flu vaccine.
